Description

Lola Montez is finally finished!! She is based on the Volbeat song of the same name about a famous Western burlesque dancer. I mixed some Wild West dance hall girl with gothic rock n' roll, and added some elements of the song lyrics. Lola is seductive, cunning, and deadly, hiding the scars on her heart.

This doll is a modified MH Operetta doll with customized face and tattoo, and all-handmade clothes and accessories, except stockings which are by Thedaughterwhosews and the original MH shoes. She wears a real lace-up corset and sheer miniskirt/lingerie panties, silver-dappled nylon train, brown stockings, and a rose headband with tulle and one black feather). Her face-up is minimal; a little work around the original eyes, added beauty spot, and repainted lips. Her tattoo, which reads "Amo Dolor" is all my own work, plus refinishing on the shoulder to paint over the Operetta scars.

This is my first fully-handmade (well almost) doll design; she is not for sale - I love her to bits :) (Smile)
